You provide directly

• Comments: name/alias, email, website (optional), comment text, and any other information you post.

• Contact Form: when you submit the form at https://rightondaily.com/contact, we collect the fields you enter (typically name, email, message) and technical details like IP address and timestamp for security/anti-spam.

• Email subscriptions (if enabled): name and email.

Automatic collection

• Usage data: IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps.

• Cookies & similar tech: set by us and by third parties for core functionality, analytics, and advertising/sponsorship. We use CookieAdmin Pro to manage consent and cookie preferences (see Section 5).

Embedded content & ads

• The Site may embed posts/media (e.g., X/Twitter, YouTube) and display ads or sponsored messages from vendors, political campaigns, and political organizations. These third parties may set cookies or similar technologies. Their use is governed by their own policies.

2) How We Use Information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site (including comment moderation and security).

• Publish and manage comments (displaying your chosen name/alias and optional website).

• Respond to messages submitted via the contact form.

• Analytics & performance (to understand readership and improve content).

• Advertising & sponsorship (including interest-based ads where permitted).

If you access the Site from the EEA/UK/Switzerland, our legal bases may include legitimate interests (security, comment operations, analytics, advertising) and consent where required (e.g., certain cookies or email subscriptions). Your data may be transferred to the U.S. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, object, restrict, or receive a copy of your data, and to withdraw consent where applicable. 4) When We Share Information

• Service providers & ad/analytics partners (hosting, security, email delivery, analytics, ad serving, cookie consent).

• Legal reasons (to comply with law, protect rights/safety, or enforce policies).

• Business transfers (e.g., reorganization of Site operations).
  We do not sell personal information for money. Certain ad/analytics uses may be considered “sharing” under some state laws (see Section 8).

5) Cookies, Tracking & CookieAdmin Pro

We use CookieAdmin Pro to provide a consent banner and preference center that groups cookies into categories (e.g., Strictly Necessary, Performance/Analytics, Functional, Advertising).

• On first visit, you can accept all, reject non-essential, or customize categories.

• You can revisit preferences at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

• Blocking non-essential cookies may affect features like embedded media or ad relevance.

• The Site currently does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Opt-outs (additional tools): You can opt out of some interest-based ads via DAA and NAI industry tools (browser-specific and cookie-based).

6) Public Nature of Comments

Comments are public. Your display name and any website you provide may be shown with your comment. Do not share sensitive personal information in comments. We use automated and manual moderation (including spam filters).

7) Data Retention

We retain information as long as necessary for Site operation, moderation, legal compliance, and to enforce our Terms. Comment metadata may be retained indefinitely to help recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

8) U.S. State Privacy Rights (e.g., CA/CPRA; CO, CT, UT, VA, TX)

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing (including “sale”/“sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising). We do not sell personal information for money. Limited ad/analytics uses may be considered “sharing.”

9) Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11) International Transfers

If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your data may be processed in countries (including the U.S.) that may have different data protection laws.

12) Third-Party Links & Embedded Content
