These Terms govern your access to and use of the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1) Political Speech & Editorial Content

Right On Daily is a political blog featuring opinions, commentary, analysis, and satire. Content reflects the views of the author(s) and not any other organization. We may update, correct, or remove content at any time.

2) Eligibility & Use

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. You are responsible for any information you submit and for maintaining the security of your devices and access.

3) Comments & User Content

When you submit comments or other content (“User Content”):

You represent you own or have permission to post it and it does not violate law or third-party rights.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, publish, display, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works of your User Content for Site operation, promotion, and archiving.
You acknowledge comments are public and may be indexed by search engines.

Moderation: We may (but are not obligated to) moderate, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion, including for spam, defamation, harassment, obscenity, privacy violations, security risks, or legal exposure.

4) Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Site for unlawful purposes; infringe rights; post defamatory, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable content; or post others’ personal information (doxing).
Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.
Attempt to hack, scrape at scale, circumvent security, or interfere with the Site.
Upload malware or spam.

We may restrict or terminate access for violations.

5) Intellectual Property

All Site content (excluding User Content) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by fair use or with our written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Site content. You may link to public pages provided you do not imply endorsement or alter the appearance/context of the content.

6) Advertising, Sponsorships & Disclosures

The Site may display ads and sponsored messages from vendors, political campaigns, and political organizations.

Ads are the responsibility of the advertiser. Ad display does not equal endorsement.
We may receive compensation for ads or affiliate links. We may identify sponsorships or ads near the content or on a disclosures page.
Advertisers are solely responsible for compliance with applicable election, advertising, and disclosure laws. We may reject or remove any ad at any time.

7) Third-Party Services, Embeds & Links

The Site may include third-party services, embeds (e.g., social media posts, videos), and links. We do not control or endorse third-party content or policies and are not responsible for them.

8) Cookie Consent & Preferences

We use CookieAdmin Pro to provide a cookie banner and preferences center where you can accept/reject non-essential cookies by category (Strictly Necessary, Performance/Analytics, Functional, Advertising). You can revisit preferences via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer. Some features (e.g., embedded media or ad relevance) may not function if you disable certain categories.

9) No Warranties; Disclaimer

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that content is accurate, complete, or current. Content is opinion/commentary and not professional advice.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOSS OF DATA; OR SECURITY BREACHES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aaron F. Park, our contributors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Site, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

12) DMCA / IP Complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to legal@rightondaily.comincluding:

Your contact information;
Identification of the copyrighted work;
The URL of the allegedly infringing material;
A statement of good-faith belief and perjury attestation;
Your physical or electronic signature.
We may remove material and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

13) Privacy

Your use of the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes data practices and cookie choices (including CookieAdmin Pro preferences).

14) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Coos County, or, if applicable, the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, Eugene Division, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15) Changes; Termination

We may modify these Terms at any time. The Effective date above shows the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., licenses, disclaimers, limitations, indemnities) will survive termination.
