It is Republican Primary season. This means you have career union hacks trying to say they are conservative, but our focus is not on the dude with a massive pension and thousands of our tax dollars in his bank account.
Nope, his rinoness has been eclipsed by yet another family dynasty candidate! Yep, one Alexandra Duarte has thrown her hat in to the ring to run for California State Senate against a Republican Incumbent.
It looks like the Duarte political empire is expanding. First we got John Duarte—Mr. “Moderate Republican”—telling everyone how proud he is to be a squish. Now his wife, Alexandra Duarte, wants to run for State Senate as a Republican. I’d be surprised, but I see this sort of stuff time and time again, including liberals trying to suddenly become Trump-Loving right-wingers.
John Duarte openly admitted he left his church because it wouldn’t celebrate same-sex marriage, and references pulling his kids out as well. That’s not “standing up for values”—that’s chasing liberal approval. You have to also conclude from John Duarte’s comments that Alexandra was completely involved in the decision to change churches and pull the kids along with it.
The Duarte’s are the latest people to abuse the good name of Abraham Lincoln or Ronald Reagan to mask a life history of liberalism (or to attack Republicans, you pick). The brutal reality in SD04 is that the most conservative Republican is the one who left the dem party after getting attacked constantly by democrat leadership in Sacramento.
If Alexandra Duarte fools the voters to get to Sacramento, she’ll do exactly what her husband does—cow-tow to the liberal insiders, cut deals with the left, and sell out the conservative base. She’s not running to fight for us, she’s running to build the Duarte brand. That is the only conclusion a reasonable person could draw. This is what her husband did in DC and it worked so well that he lasted one term in office.
Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil actually took the hard road. She switched parties when the democrats went full socialist, and she proudly attended President Trump’s inauguration—knowing full well the left and the media would viciously attack her. She went the opposite way from the Duarte’s, her values took her out of the dem party into the the Republican Party and now the Duarte’s are having to attempt to reinvent themselves to bluff their way in to relevance again.
You have a career government union dude. You have a chameleon with a documented history of social liberalism. You have Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil that was effectively thrown out of the democrat party for holding our values. It should be an easy choice – but I am warning you now, say no to the latest fraudulent Republican. Pick the honest Republican who took the personal hits and stood up for us when it mattered the most, when she had everything to lose, Marie Alvarado-Gil.
Donald Trump left the democrat party because of his values. Ronald Reagan left the democrat party because of his values. Marie Alvarado Gil Left the democrat party because of her values. Her opponents are lying about their values in order to trick republicans. Warning Issued.
